The Wakool Shire Medicine and Allied Health Scholarship supports young people from Wakool Shire and surrounds in the study of medicine and allied health at university.
One scholarship will be awarded in 2016 with the recipient receiving $6,000 towards their living and studying expenses.
Applications are now open for students currently enrolled in one of the following eligible disciplines:
Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Psychology and other mental health professions, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Pharmacy, Optometry, Paramedicine, Diatetics or Medical Imaging.
Those who can demonstrate current or previous residency in Wakool Shire will be given preference.
Applications close 31st March 2016.
