Council to conduct Murray Downs Bridge Survey

The surveys, which will be mailed to Murray Downs residents this week, focus on whether the approved bridge crossing option meets the community’s safety and transportation needs.

Residents will be asked to provide a yes or no answer and their comments to the following question:

Council said thousands of healthy cats and dogs are euthanased each year across our State because not enough homes can be found for them – we have an ‘oversupply’ of pets.

“Many cats and dogs are bred by accident, because owners don’t get around to desexing their pets” said Wakool Shire Compliance Officer, Mark Birrer

Wakool Welcomes New Councillor

Cr Crowe will hold office until the next ordinary election of Wakool Shire Council in September 2016.
She joins fellow A Ward Councillor Lois Lockhart and replaces former Councillor Andrew Douglas who resigned from Council in September.
The mother of five grown children, Cr Crowe has lived in Murray Downs for 27 years.
